A three-year educational program on waste management was conducted for county extension agents. The topics included: 1) land application of waste; 2) waste treatment; and 3) waste storage and handling. The primary objectives were to increase the knowledge and understanding of waste management principles among county agents and to increase agent-led instruction of livestock producers and landowners.
