A combustion model has been developed to analyze the performance and emissions of different types of diesel and biodiesel fuels. In order to have this flexibility, a new fuel library needed to be constructed. The most critical part of the fuel library construction was the use of accurate fuel properties. For this analysis, the properties of a soybean based and rapeseed based biodiesel were modeled to compare against the stock biodiesel model.(Download PDF) (Export to EndNotes)
