Abstract: Modern Chinese dairy farms are designed around a series of modules consisting of Animal barns, milking parlor, feed storage and manure storage. Specific criteria are used to position these modules relative to each other and the main road. Cultural beliefs play a role in establishing some of the specific criteria.
