Modeling greenhouse through mathematical equations that translate the microclimatic phenomena provides the researchers and producers wide understanding of each variables dynamics and contributes considerably to optimize the monitoring and control strategies. Due to the complexity of the interactions that forms the microclimate, the analytical modeling presents as an important tool for the knowledge and study of the greenhouses behavior. This paper presents an alternative process, based on Fuzzy Logic, for modeling greenhouses. The proposed modeling process takes in account environment variables and greenhouse features, which are fuzzyfied and included to the Fuzzy rule set. The model is applied to actual greenhouse and the results are compared to experimental values.
