In recent years Organic Agriculture (OA) experienced a significant expansion throughout many countries. OA in Cyprus is a new trend and through time more and more people are attracted towards food which is organic. Currently agricultural agencies around the globe are progressively using websites or portals to provide general OA information. However relevant and accurate information is often not easy to find (e.g. language barrier) and time costly. Currently Cyprus is participating in an EU project concerning OA, termed Bio@gro. The outcome will be an e-Services System which will serve as a single point of access for multilingual OA information and business opportunities. One of the main features of the system is e-learning. The aim of this paper is to examine how such a portal could be adopted by Cypriot farmers and their attitude towards e-learning. (Download PDF) (Export to EndNotes)
