The GrainPlan project was launched by the UKs HGCA (Home Grown Cereals Association) to provide grain store managers with a tool to support the management of grain store quality and the data associated with it. The resulting software tool, now in its third release, has been developed in Delphi and uses a Microsoft Access database. The project adopted a user-centered design approach and its functionality is firmly based on user needs. The resulting software has easy to use drag and drop features and has so far been well received by its users. This paper describes its development, key features and gives some information on feedback. (Download PDF) (Export to EndNotes)
