Field Server is composed of durable casing, Web-server, multiple sensors, network-camera, wireless LAN card, high intensity LED lighting etc. The most important part in Field Server is a core card, Field Server Engine (FSE). The FSE functions as Web server, advanced data acquisition system (16ch), signal generator, remote controller for external devices and RS-S23C serial interface. Field Server equipped with FSE is a multi-functional sensor node, which can measure 3-dimentionalwind velocity, EC and so on. Prototype of advanced FSE, which has FPAA (Field Programmable Analog Array), also has been developed. All functions of the FSE are operated on Web pages of FSE using Web-browser manually, or Agent program operates automatically FSE by HTTP. Field Servers with FSE can realize multifunctional sensor networks.
