Main goal of the Dutch agricultural portal site ZIEZO.biz is supporting the business and management processes of tens of thousands farmers and growers with content and applications. ZIEZO.biz is an initiative of Agroportal B.V. This internet company has been established in May 2002 and is situated in the centre of the agricultural area of the Netherlands. Agroportal is the largest agriculture internet communication service provider in the country. The company has consolidated some of the leading agriculture forces, and is a market oriented organization, responding to the online demands and needs of their customers and partners. Agroportal develops and maintains portal sites, such as ZIEZO.biz, by using a sophisticated Portal Management System, called EMMA. This tailor made system supports at least hundred agricultural portal sites in the Netherlands. With the identification management system Z.login, more then 100.000 users of ZIEZO and related applications are registered for gaining access to member areas.
