Traditional oil quality control uses gas or liquid chromatograph! The aim of this study was
to discriminate the taste of several important edible oils and discriminate various concentration
mixtures of edible oils by the Alpha Astree electronic tongue.
The electronic tongue instrument is able to analyze taste and dissolved organic and inorganic
chemicals that are typically found in liquids.
