Development of Agricultural Watershed Management System for Hydrologic and Water Quality Data Management and AnalysisPublished by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, St. Joseph, Michigan www.asabe.org Citation: Paper number 053013, 2005 ASAE Annual Meeting . (doi: 10.13031/2013.19057) @2005Authors: Hak Kwan Kim, Seung Woo Park, Sang Min Kim, Tae Il Jang Keywords: Watershed management system, Hydrologic data, Water Quality Data, Database It is necessary to integrate the hydrologic and water quality information using the database management system for an efficient management of watershed data. The objective of this paper is to describe the design and application of the Agricultural Watershed Management System (AWMS) for managing hydrologic and water quality data systematically. This system was composed of three modules: search module, manager module, and analysis module. The AWMS integrated the watershed information using the database management system(DBMS) and graphical user interface (GUI). User can easily handle and analyze the watershed information through the window-based useful tools in the AWMS. The proposed AWMS is the very useful system to manage hydrologic and water quality data systematically, and it can be used in similar projects dealing with the watershed data management.
