This experiment was designed to determine whether moldy feed influences quail health and hematology. Twenty healthy female quail were divided into two groups at random. One group was fed moldy feed (treatment group) and the other received a standard basal diet (control). After feeding the respective diets for 3 weeks, alkaline phosphates (ALP) and total protein (TP) were determined. The results show that the liver, gallbladder and intestines have some pathological changes. The ALP value was significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group (p<0.01); the TP value was significantly lower in the treated group than in the control group (p<0.05).
