The advances in the geographic information systems (GIS) and the greater availability of the meteorological data permit the studying of systems of artificial conditioning of the environment according to the climatic conditions of each region. The simulation of the poultry sheds thermal behavior with and without Adiabatic Evaporative Cooling (SRAE) allow the decision makers to evaluate the economical viability and the installation costs of a poultry production enterprise. The general objective of this research was to evaluate the thermal environmental conditions of bird raising, based on daily climatic data, as a way of previewing chicken production loss caused by inadequate technical installations.(Download PDF) (Export to EndNotes)
