A fan test chamber with an airflow capacity of 60,000 m3/h was constructed at the Department of Agricultural and Bioengineering, China Agricultural University, Beijing China. It was ideally suited for evaluating the airflow and ventilating efficiency of agricultural and horticultural exhaust fans as well as many other airflow measurement applications. Active test chambers in Europe and North America have contributed to improved performance and electrical efficiency of commercial airflow products in those markets. It is expected that this new chamber will have a similar impact on the market in China.
