Great achievement on livestock and poultry production in China has been attained in last twenty years. The progress of this issue has been introduced, science & technology and production system innovation are also emphasized. The science & technology innovation and development have been playing a significant role in the livestock and poultry production in China. The development of some key technologies in this area in China will be summed up in this paper.
