This is the second in a series of reports on a study of metal-clad wood-frame diaphragm action in a 40- by 200-foot post-frame building. This study is being jointly sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Lester Building Systems of Lester Prairie, MN. In this report, design goals and details for the hydraulic frame loading system and the data acquisition system are presented.
