The research objective is to promote the mechanization of hybrid rice precision sowing technology. Hybrid rice direct seeding and PVC plate breeding demand 2 grains per cave according to the agricultural standard that is difficult to achieve by previous sowing methods. Pneumatic blowing seedmeter is often used for precision seeding, but as usual, its cell shape is conical and it sows only 1 grain per cave. The technology presented can solve the problem. After the design and manufacture of the pneumatic blowing seed-meters different cell models of conical, ellipse cone, pyramid shape by white wax, and the normal experiments of simulating hybrid rices precision sowing under different parameters of cell obliquity, gas flux and hole line speed, the result gained is that ellipse cone shape is very suitable to sow hybrid rice under the stated conditions. In order to examine the simulating experiments result, a pneumatic blowing sowing device is designed and some experiments by this device are finished. The results of the simulating experiments and the sowing experiments by the device are consistent. At the same time, some theoretical analysis and experimental data concerned are given in this paper.
